LOAN SERVICING SPECIALIST
RECRUITMENT DATES: June 23, 2010 - September 30, 2010
SALARY: To be determined according to experience.
EXPERIENCE: Three to five years experience in banking or finance industry.
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance and Loan Administration, this individual is responsible for:
General Duties:

Arranging Investment Committee and Board of Director meetings including preparation of handouts.

Transcribing, proofing and editing all Investment Committee and Board of Director meeting minutes.

Maintaining the Corporation's news articles, brochures and handouts, copier, emails, general mail, office supplies, on-line postage, parking, record retention, telephones and special projects.

Assisting with the company's fiscal year-end audit and loan review.
Loan Preparation :
- Preparing and merging borrower loan documention using Word and Access.
- Generating and updating company loan portfolio reports in Excel and Access.
- Preparing financial spreadsheets using WinFast.
- Tracking loan referrals.
- Processing decline letters.
- Pulling on-line Experian credit reports for borrowers.
- Recording UCCs, deeds of trust and vehicle liens for borrowers.
- Maintaining Access database.
Loan Servicing:
- Daily processing to BMA Bankrite Loan System including payment and advance batching, printing daily reports, maintenance and updates to the Loan System.
- Generating boarding instructions and monthly invoice statements to borrowers.
- Maintaining loan covenant tickler system.
- Generating micro-cash batches.
- Monitoring delinquent and non-accrual loan activities.
- Generating and maintaining borrower legal and credit loan files.
- Monitoring ABL lines.
APPLICABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of bank loan systems, general finance including understanding financial spreadsheets and business administration background.
- Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize work to meet goals and objectives on a timely basis or as required.
- Proficient proof reading and editing skills.
- Ability to read, understand, interpret, and draft appropriate commercial loan documentation.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers and related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Office and WinFast.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and co-workers.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be a team player.
